Managing Testimonials

AI summaries

Let Kudoso condense long testimonials into a sharp, quotable line.

A customer who is excited will often write three paragraphs. That is wonderful, but a paragraph does not fit on a landing page. AI summaries turn a long testimonial into one tight, quotable sentence.

What an AI summary is#

For a given testimonial, Kudoso can generate:

  • A short summary: the essence of the testimonial in a sentence or two, suitable for a widget card.
  • A sentiment read: whether the testimonial is positive, neutral, or critical, and how strongly.

The original testimonial is never changed. The summary sits alongside it, so you always keep the customer's real words.

A Pro feature#

AI summaries and sentiment are part of the Pro plan and run on AI credits. Each plan includes a monthly allotment of credits, and you can top up if you need more. See AI credits for how credits work.

Note

On the Free plan you can still collect and approve testimonials normally. You just will not see AI summaries or sentiment until you upgrade.

When to use the summary#

The summary is a starting point, not a mandate. For a widget, you can show the customer's full quote or the AI summary, whichever reads better in the space you have. Short cards favor the summary; a dedicated testimonial page can carry the full quote.

Across many testimonials#

Once you have summaries and sentiment on a body of testimonials, patterns emerge: the same benefit keeps coming up, or a particular feature draws the strongest praise. That roll-up view is covered in AI analytics.
