Contacts

Managing contacts

Keep a list of the people you collect testimonials from.

Contacts are the people you collect from. Keeping them in Kudoso lets you target Workflows at a real audience instead of a guess.

What a contact is#

A contact is a person: a name and an email address, sometimes with extra detail like a company. Contacts live at the organization level, so every campaign and workflow in your workspace can use the same list.

Adding contacts#

1

Add one by hand

Use the add control in the Contacts area to enter a single person. Good for adding a customer the moment they have a great experience.

2

Import many at once

Bring in a whole list from a CSV file. This is the fast path when you already have customers in a spreadsheet or another tool. See Importing contacts.

Finding and editing contacts#

The contacts list is searchable, so you can jump to a person by name or email. Open a contact to edit their details or remove them.

What contacts are for#

The main payoff is automation. A workflow can be aimed at contacts, so you can nurture a list of customers toward leaving a testimonial, rather than waiting and hoping. Without a contact list, your outreach is manual; with one, Kudoso can do the chasing.

Tip

Add a customer as a contact the moment they say something kind, even before you ask for a testimonial. A short, well-timed contact list beats a giant stale one.
