What Kudoso is, who it is for, and the core concepts you will use across the product.

Kudoso is a testimonial collection platform. It gives you a shareable form to gather text and video testimonials from your customers, a dashboard to review and approve them, and an embeddable widget to show the best ones anywhere on the web.

It is built for indie SaaS founders, agencies, and creators who want social proof without stitching together a recorder, a database, and a display widget by hand.

Core concepts#

A few terms show up throughout these docs. They are worth knowing up front.

Organization

Your workspace. Every account gets a personal organization automatically on sign-up. Campaigns, contacts, testimonials, and billing all belong to an organization. On the Pro plan you can invite teammates into one.

Campaign

A single collection effort, for example "Product Hunt launch" or "Q1 customer reviews". Each campaign has its own form, its own shareable link, and its own set of testimonials.

Collection form

The public page your customers land on to leave a testimonial. You design it in the form builder; your customers never see the dashboard.

Testimonial

One submission: a text quote or a recorded video, plus the customer's name, title, rating, and any custom fields you asked for.

Widget

The embeddable testimonial wall that displays your approved testimonials on your own website.
